I’ve heard many recommendations from /r/BeautyTalkPH of how the QUICK FX Pimple Eraser helped clear their skin. Mind you, I’m not the type of person to join in on the bandwagon without doing proper research. So I did what I usually do and dig for more information.
One ingredient, niacinamide, is said to minimize the size of pores as well as reduce wrinkles. You don’t usually find it in cheap skin care products, which is why this made me curious whether or not it works.
Applying it to my face
Using it is simple: apply a very tiny (tinier than a pea) amount on the pimple and let it dry. If you’re using a routine, I recommend putting it on before applying your moisturizer.
I can’t really give a universal verdict since everyone has skin that may react differently to ingredients. For reference, my skin is a combination type: oily and dry.
After months of use, it didn’t work for me. I thought I just needed to give it a few weeks, but it never cleared my pimples. It actually worsened when it was applied.
Now that I’m off of the stuff, my skin is back to normal and the pimples disappeared on their own.
QUICK FX Pimple Eraser Price
Doing research, it seems the price hasn’t changed for the past 3 years. Since I wasn’t sure with the product, I only bought the 10ml variant from Watsons. There are two size variants available listed below with the price per unit shown for comparison.
QUICK FX Pimple Eraser Ingredients
Below is the list of ingredients for QUICK FX Pimple Eraser:
|C14-18 Alkyl Ethylhexanoate|
You’ll find some ingredients include glycerin and salicylic acid, which acts as a moisturizer and exfoliator, respectively.
QUICK FX Pimple Eraser – Is it worth it?
Sadly, it didn’t work in removing my pimples. Which is disappointing since I’ve read many reviews online raving about how much it works.
For its price and size, I give it a thumbs-up. It’s affordable and given the ingredients present, it’s rare to find one at such a low price point. The 10ml variant lasted me several months too, which is really impressive!
- Price for value
- Not very effective for people with a combination skin type (for me anyways)
Don’t let my own experience deter you though, because everyone’s skin have different needs. It just might work for you.
